I received 3 file folder games from Shanna. I knew they would be a hit with the kids but it is summer, so I hesitated to print them out and put them together in fear of cutting into their cherished vacation time : ) However, I could not withhold the temptation of assembling them. I figured I would pull them out when we restart school but the kids got a hold of them and there was no taking them back. You know it is a hit when something is educational but disguished as being fun. The kids have fun learning while Mommy gets the secret knowledge that the kids are learning. I usually hold the file folder games for topics that my kids struggle with because they ARE so much fun. For instance, last year my son struggled with the concept of place value. You can look through my old post under “File Folder Games” to see. Well shortly after pulling out the ducks who needed to be placed in their correct place- he quickly grasped the concept. Which reminds me- I loaned some of my valued FFG’s to my neighbor. I will have to get those back before school starts- note to self- call and get FFG’s back before school resumes : ) Anyway, here is a recently found creator of File Folder games- her name is Shanna Clark and she personally creates the artwork and concepts of these FFG’s. Shanna is a true inspiration as she has found a way to share her God-given gift of artistic ability to homeschool families. Here are a few of her FFG’s:

Here Jelly Bean must match the clothing and accessories to the proper season (Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer). She giggled away as we created various stories of the Fox and why he needed these clothes for this season.

This is the game titled “Buried Treasure”. The girls and I enjoyed playing this game very much. Within the game they learned their directions of North, South, West, and East. Sunshine found it very funny when someone (Mommy) kept mysteriously stealing her treasure after she buried it- darn pirates- better watch out!

This is game where Sunshine got to go to the store and use her money (dimes, nickels, quarters, and pennies) to purchase her groceries at the “check out”. As you can see she is intensely in her math facts as she adds up just how much she is spending.

You can purchase from a wide-variety of File Folder games from Shanna for just $3.00. She will even design a personal file folder game for you – just tell her the artwork and the concept you need. You can even purchase all of Integrita’s File Folder games on one cd-rom for just $15.00.
